Satellite communication training
The general satcom training class provides an introduction to satellite
communications technologies, services, orbital mechanics, satellite design and launch, configuration and installation of earth stations, implementation of communications links, setup of satellite network and capabilities and limitations of current satellites.
This popular intensive course provides an in-depth background of satellite communication echniques as well as a state-of-the-art update on key emerging technologies and future systems. This class does not require any previous knowledge of satellite communication.
Technical VSAT training The technical VSAT training provides hands-on knowledge in how to assemble and put into operation a VSAT installation. You will learn how to: - Perform a site survey
- Install a satellite communications antenna, RF equipment and modem
- Commission the VSAT terminal – site acceptance testing
- Maintain CPE (Customer premises equipment)
