New bandwidth management technologies significantly reduce Internet network congestion and improve end-user experience
Oslo, Norway, 1 October 2009 – Vizada Networks, the leading independent satellite communications provider, today announced an expansion of its connectivity services portfolio, to include the “Internet Start” next-generation broadband IP service.
This turn-key offering enables internet service providers (ISPs) and small & medium businesses (SMBs) without excessive bandwidth requirements to benefit from a flexible, reliable and economical solution for Internet access.
The Internet Start service uses Vizada Networks’ bandwidth management solution to maximize capacity on the IP network during data transmission. The service is also delivered on iDirect’s Evolution DVB-S2/ACM technology deployed at Vizada Networks’ teleport in Nittedal, Norway.
The combination of these reduces network congestion and improves the quality and efficiency of data transmission. In addition to a significantly improved end-user experience, customers also benefit from cost savings as they have access to more bandwidth for their fixed price.
