Vizada Announces the Appointment of Rafi Kouyoumdjian as CEO

11 July 2011: Vizada, the leading independent satellite communications provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rafi Kouyoumdjian as Group CEO, effective 11 July 2011. Rafi is a seasoned and professional manager who brings with him 25 years of experience in the IT and Telecom industries gained notably at the head of groups such as Econocom, Tiscali/Libertysurf and NextiraOne.

Rafi will lead the implementation of the strategic orientation defined by the Board of Directors of Vizada and continue the transformation of the Group initiated by Bruno Ducharme. Vizada is pleased to confirm that Bruno, who is stepping down from the Group CEO position for personal reasons, remains committed to Vizada as an important investor and will therefore continue to serve the Group as a member of the Board of Directors and as such will assist Rafi in ensuring a successful leadership transition

Bertrand Pivin, Chairman of the Board and a Partner at Apax, the, majority shareholder of Vizada, takes this opportunity to thank Bruno for his inspired leadership and his achievements at the head of Vizada.
