South Sudan Selects Viznet Broadband For Internet Connectivity And Voice Services

The Republic of South Sudan’s administration has selected Vizada Networks to provide interim internet connectivity and voice services for domestic and international official use. The interim connectivity is for 3 months and was agreed on February 24th 2012 with service delivery starting during March 2012.

Vizada Networks Completes Antenna Installation For Swedish Defence Material Administration in Afghanistan

Vizada Networks was recently acquired by Astrium and has completed the installation of a custom designed VSAT Camp Antenna System (VCAS) for FMV, the Swedish Defence Material Administration. The antenna system will be used by the Swedish Armed Forces (SwAF) within their role as members of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), Afghanistan. (more…)

Vizada Networks prepares for IPv6

IPv6 is the next generation Internet Protocol that is expected to gradually take over from the current IPv4 protocol. The main driver for Ipv6 is the future shortage of public IP addresses.

NATO Air Defence Selects Vizada Networks to Extend and Upgrade Afghan Air C2 Network

Vizada Networks has been selected by NC3A for the upgrade and expansion to its existing Air Command and Control System (Air C2) in Afghanistan for use by the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).

The contract, which was signed May 2011, covers the design and final delivery within 52 weeks of a Radio over IP (RoIP) system housed in CIS shelters to 16 sites in Afghanistan.
