Successful Seminars and Conference in Dar es Salaam

Vizada Networks’ participation in two major events in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania last week proved a success, confirming our position as a leading supplier of reliable internet connection along the East Coast of Africa. 
 
The first event was the annual Connecting Rural Communities Africa (CRC Africa) forum organised by the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation, of which Vizada Networks is a silver sponsor. Hosted by the Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology in Tanzania and the Tanzanian Communications Regulatory Authority on 24-26 August 2011, the conference covered seven sessions including International Connectivity for Africa, Equipment and Technology and Operator’s Perspective.

The majority of the world’s satellite communications industry turned up at Washington DC for Satellite 2011, which took place March 14-17th. It was a major industry event, with a packed conference schedule that saw key figures discussing important issues and a busy parallel exhibition that was the largest this annual expo has ever had.
