Monday, September 5th, 2011Successful Seminars and Conference in Dar es Salaam
Vizada Networks’ participation in two major events in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania last week proved a success, confirming our position as a leading supplier of reliable internet connection along the East Coast of Africa.
The first event was the annual Connecting Rural Communities Africa (CRC Africa) forum organised by the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation, of which Vizada Networks is a silver sponsor. Hosted by the Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology in Tanzania and the Tanzanian Communications Regulatory Authority on 24-26 August 2011, the conference covered seven sessions including International Connectivity for Africa, Equipment and Technology and Operator’s Perspective.

Thursday, June 23rd, 2011On June 9, 2011 Vizada and Inmarsat jointly held a breakfast seminar to further build awareness of the benefits of satellite communications for NGOs and Aid Agencies. The seminar was part of The Aid and International Development Forum (AIDF) – formerly Aid & Trade – in Washington D.C., where Inmarsat and Vizada were two of the key sponsors. This event is one of the most recognized in the NGO/Aid market sector.

Friday, March 25th, 2011The majority of the world’s satellite communications industry turned up at Washington DC for Satellite 2011, which took place March 14-17th. It was a major industry event, with a packed conference schedule that saw key figures discussing important issues and a busy parallel exhibition that was the largest this annual expo has ever had.

Thursday, February 3rd, 2011Vizada Networks will launch Viznet Broadband, a brand new connectivity service at the forthcoming Satellite MENA exhibition. The new service is partly based on our next generation JanUX Mark II platform and will be launched in parallel with the new Viznet brand and portfolio.

Monday, January 10th, 2011Vizada Networks will be at the Satellite MENA exhibition in Dubai this February (8th – 10th), where we will have an exciting announcement about new developments in our product and technology portfolio.
